Ultrasound pics :)

Well we went to our ultrasound today and found out we are having. . . a surprise :p After already having one of each we decided it would be fun to have a surprise baby :) Here is a picture of my sweet little baby :)

17 weeks and counting

Well I am 17 weeks and 3 days prego today :) Here is my belly shot from last night. Yes that is my pimp lens cap, I gotta start teaching my kid "canon" from the beginning right? hahaha jk, actually that's just where I stick it when I don't have pockets :p



and here was 12 weeks I think I've gotten a bit bigger :p

Some more Christmas cheer

Well I was "that" mommy on Christmas. You know the type, the mommy who puts her "sweet innocent" toddler in the corner for pushing her brother and not listening to daddy. Yep that was me, and then to make sure everyone knew it I took pics :p

My dad was kind enough to dress up like Santa for the kids. Unfortunately they were beyond afraid of him. Aurora wouldn't go NEAR him and Logan started crying the second his little butt touched "santa's" knee lmao

Logan's First Haircut!

Today was a monumental day in the Sanders' household! Today was Logan's first haircut, which happens to be the first haircut for either of my kids *tear* They grow up so fast!!! So I had to document the whole thing with pictures.. cuz well... that's what I do :)

My Christmas Wish

Have you ever met someone without meeting them? Talked to someone online and just known that they are a wonderful person? Well I have met someone like that. Her name is Kathleen. I have talked with her practically every day for the past 3 or more years. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met. Sadly though Kat has been longing for something that only God can give her. She is longing for a baby. Her and her husband Eric have decided to go the adoption route. Today was a hard day for our dear sweet Kat. Yesterday she received a call saying she had a 50% chance of bringing home her sweet baby today. Unfortunately, the birth mom chose another family. Although I know in my heart that there must be a reason Kat didn't get her baby today, I can't help but grieve along with her. So today, I am making a wish. Christmas is a magical time of year, and miracles happen every day. Every year people wish for material objects and spend hundreds/thousands of dollars on things that in time will mean very little. Well this year I wish and pray that Kat and Eric will get their baby before the new year. I don't care to receive any material possession, I simply wish for her to be able to hold a little baby, to have sleepless nights while her child cries, to see that babies first smile, to hold him/her when they are sick and to be able to comfort him/her. So tonight when you hug your children, and kiss their beautiful little heads good night, think of the women like Kat who desperately long for a child of their own. If you are at all thankful for the unconditional love you have for your child, I encourage you to say a little prayer for my dear kathleen that her prayers of feeling that love will be answered soon.

15 days until christmas!

Well, there is only 15 days left until Christmas!!!! I have yet to put up my Christmas tree or lights, and quite frankly I probably won't. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my tree and I love my lights, but keeping an almost 3 year old and an 18 month OUT of the Christmas tree just does NOT sound like fun. So instead I will go and enjoy everyone elses, but who knows maybe this weekend I will get a wild hair up my booty and decide that I NEED my tree lol. As far as Christmas shopping, I am done with that lol. This year I have decided that I am only buying my kids things. WHY??? because I'm broke, lets face it the economy sucks right now, and besides that my entire family has entirely to much *crap* anyways lol.

Rory's first Gingerbread house!

Well Rory and Daddy made a gingerbread house the other day!!! This was Rory's first ever Gingerbread house! Daddy put on the icing and Rory put on all the candies. I don't know what she liked better decorating the house or eating the icing lol

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

I hope everyone has a great Turkey Day! I am looking forward to pigging out at my mom's! I am so thankful that I have the opportunity TO pig out today. I know there are so many less fortunate then me and I am truly thankful for being able to spend the day in a warm house with the people I love!

I just got a text from a good friend and an awesome artist. I had given her a couple pics that I had taken of my little ones and asked her to draw them for me in exchange for me taking some pics of her art. Well life gets hectic and we both completely forgot about stuff, and she texts me out of the blue today telling me she finished my daughter's drawing though she probably looks nothing like that anymore. I told her I had completely forgot about them but I had to go dig up the pics I had given her so I could see just how much Rory has changed this past year. Let me tell you WOW! My kids sure have changed this year. Rory doesn't look nearly as much like a baby as she used to! And Logan actually looks like a lil person now instead of a roly poly baby!

Christmas Pictures (take 1)

Well I curled the lil boogers hair for her and Logan's christmas pictures. I decided to do my first attempt at them today. Anyways, her hair came out better this time than last :)

I get home from work today (around 11am) and find my kids STILL in their pj's lol. I decided to try curling Rory's hair again, which went fine. Then I wanted to take pics with the curlers in her hair....

I love it when my kids are in these pj's! I just think they look SO dang adorable! I had to bribe them with Toy Story to get them to sit together on the couch... well actually Rory was fine sitting with Logan on the couch I had to bribe Logan lol. Regardless, I have come to the conclusion that my couch is my favorite place to take pictures of my little ones!



Logan decided he needed a closer look of Toy Story (that movie has got to be Logan's all time favorite movie he will sit and watch the ENTIRE thing!)
